Foreclosure Defense

A foreclosure usually begins when a trustee for your mortgage company files and serves you with a Notice of Hearing for Foreclosure of a Deed of Trust. If you have received a Notice, you should contact us immediately. The earlier we can become involved in the process, the better our chances are of protecting your home. In the Notice, a date will be disclosed for a hearing with the Clerk of Superior Court. If your mortgage company establishes its right to foreclose at the hearing, then a sale date will be set. There is a very limited period of time after the hearing before a sale takes place. There are options available to stop the sale of your home. Allow us to help you explore all of your home-retention options.
